For example, if there is a section of the door lintel that has become dislodged, you could take out that section and replace it with a new piece.  On the other hand, you could also repair the entire section. To do this, you would need to assess the entire area of the damaged section of the lintel and decide whether or not you should repair or replace the entire door. In addition to using steel lintel repair to correct minor problems, a qualified masonry contractor can use this same technique to strengthen the whole masonry wall.
